In the case of inclement weather, Mint Hill Arts has the following policy for all classes. If Mecklenburg County Schools are closed, Mint Hill Arts is closed.
If Mecklenburg County Schools are delayed, classes may still be held. This will depend on the severity of the roads and the timing of the classes. Decisions will be made by individual instructors and students will be contacted by the instructor with appropriate information.
Any class that is canceled due to inclement weather will be rescheduled during our make-up week of classes that is built into our schedule, after the last week of classes. If additional make-up days are required, the instructor will make every attempt to add an additional day that works for everyone.
Gallery hours may also be impacted by inclement weather. As we are 100% volunteer based we may not have a volunteer for that day. Please call ahead to see if we are open.
