The “Featured Artist” program allows members of Mint Hill Arts to promote their art on our Facebook page. You must be a member of Mint Hill Arts to apply for Featured Artist. Please complete the membership application form prior to applying for this program if you are not currently a member.
The Featured Artist Facebook post includes a biographical statement and two photos of the artist’s work to be pinned to the top of the page for a period of at least a week. After it is unpinned, it becomes a post that moves down the page, but never disappears. It can be bumped higher on the page with lots of “Likes” and comments.
Participants will be featured in the order in which their applications are received by the Mint Hill Arts Facebook registrar. When all participants have been featured, a call for new posts will be made and artists can re-apply, submitting their original post or submitting a modified one. The charge is $10/post.
The biographical statement can be up to 75 words long, including the artist’s web address or other contact information. The statement will not be edited, so artists are encouraged to proof their statement carefully. The two photographs of artwork should be high resolution, *.jpeg or *.png images.
Applications for “Featured Artist” must be made online by completing the online application form. You can choose to pay with PayPal or a credit card. In order for your application to be processed, you must first “Like” the Mint Hill Arts Facebook Page (see above). When your application is received, you will receive an email acknowledgment.
