April 2018 Call for All Artists
Romie and Judy Mizell Photography Show
This is the first annual Romie and Judy Mizell Photography Show. It is a judged show with two categories and awards in each one. The two categories are Unaltered Photography and Modified Photography, as described below:
Unaltered Photography
Art shot with a camera that is a truthful representation of what was seen through the camera lens. Post-processing is kept to a very minimum, changed digitally only in ways that were formerly possible in a darkroom, i.e., adjusting brightness and contrast. Cropping and converting to black and white are acceptable.
Modified Photography
Artwork that uses computer programs to change the photograph such that the image is no longer a truthful representation of what was seen through the camera lens. Photography of this kind uses various post-processing programs to modify or manipulate the original image to create the finished product.
