Of Earth and Beauty
Opening Reception Friday, July 10th, 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Mint Hill Arts' July 2009 exhibit was titled "Of Earth and Beauty," featuring oil and pastel paintings by 
Virginia L. Dauth and pottery by members of Mint Hill Arts as well as the Carolina Clay Matters Guild.
Virginia creates her landscapes from the classical style to the modern, and sometimes a combination of both. She defines her style as expressive colorism, with the use of bold stroke and the pushing of intense color.
