November 2015 Show: Overflowing

Overflowing means "spilling over," "running over," and "bursting." We want the gallery bursting with your great work, depicting the overflow of your talent! Let your Creativity speak for itself in this show, spilling over into beautiful expressions of the gratitude of the season...or whatever your interpretation of the theme may be. We’re looking for a veritable cornucopia, running over with wonderful artistic works! And we are thankful for eachartist who is represented at this show!

Open To:
All members and non-members of Mint Hill Arts.

Friday, October 30, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, October 31, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Opening Reception:
Friday, November 6, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

MHA members: $10 for up to four pieces.
Non-members: $30 for up to four pieces.

> 2-D work cannot exceed 60" x 60".
> 3-D work cannot exceed a 36" footprint x 7' in height. It must fit through the door.

> Each artist may enter up to four pieces.
> All work must be original.
> All work must be properly framed and wired. If your 2-D work does not require a frame, hanging must be thought out so it is ready to be displayed.
> All artists must fill out our Gallery Registration Form and affix our Intake Labels. See our forms page for links to these forms. Save time at Intake by printing and filling them out then bring them in with your artwork. Labels will be available at Intake for those who choose to fill them out in the gallery.
> We will accept all artwork unless it is unsafe to exhibit or shows very inappropriate subject matter. We welcome new faces and "unusual" artwork. Creative thinking and expression are the things that make your work special!
> Entering artists must be 18 years old or have written permission from a parent/guardian.
> All artwork must remain in the show until its closing. If you have an emergency and must remove your artwork, you must notify the Gallery Chair, Thea Barbato ( to make arrangements for the early removal

Mint Hill Arts requires a 20% commission on all work sold through our gallery. All sales are run through the gallery and checks are made payable to Mint Hill Arts. Commissions are paid within 30 days of the sale.

All proceeds from sales go to Mint Hill Arts, an all-volunteer non-profit art organization. You do not have to put your work up for sale; whether to sell, and the price of your work, is determined by you. All sold work can be picked up by the buyer at the end of each monthly show.
